  1. "West Indies from the Best Authorities", 1795, published by Guthrie, $295. Engraving. Paper size is approx. 9" x 14". A detailed map spanning the area from the Gulf Coast of the US and Mexico (includes most of Florida - with Florida divided between East and West Florida and West Florida continuing all the way to New Orleans) to northern South America (Terra Firma). Each island is annotated with a symbol that designates the colonial ownership of its parent European country. To see a detail CLICK HERE. Condition: Folds as issued, offsetting, otherwise good.


  2. "West Indies", 1815, published by Guthrie, $140. Engraving. Paper size is approx. 8 1/4" x 10 1/2". An interesting map of this region, showing the area from the southeastern US to northern South America (Terra Firma). Great detail of ports on all of the islands. Condition: Folds as issued, browning, some dampstaining.

  3. "West Indies" Circa 1840's, Drawn & engraved by John Dower, $145. 9" x 11", hand colored in outline, scale is approximately 1" = 200 English Statute Miles. Includes the tip of Florida and the Gulf Coast to New Orleans, the Yucatan, and the northern coast of South America (labelled Columbia). Condition: Centerfold as issued, agetoning, browning and a few spots in margins.

  4. "West Indies", Drawn & Engraved by W.H. Lizars, ca. 1845, $150. Hand colored engraving with elaborate scrollwork border. Paper size is approx. 12" X 14 1/2" with the actual map dimensions being approx. 7 3/4" X 9 1/2". A decorative map engraved for Lizars School Atlas showing the area from the tip of Florida to South America. Includes all island groups and color codes them to indicate each island's Colonial affiliation. Condition: Some agetoning and handling, otherwise very good.

  5. "A Correct Map of Jamaica", 1767, published by Thomas Salmon, $145. Engraving, annotated "H. Gavin, Sc." Paper size is approx. 5" x 8". An detailed map of this island, showing subdivisions, towns, bays and harbors along the coastline. Condition: Light agetoning, some spotting.
