Boston - A Guide Book by Edwin M. Bacon, $45. Published 1903. This is a wonderful guide to Boston and the surrounding areas. Illustrated with photographs (small scale) and some maps in with the text. Also several full page/full color maps at back of book. 176 Pages. 4 3/4" x 6 3/4". Very good condition though there is some browing of inside cover pages.
1896 Political Speech - "The Duty of the Republican Party - Silver Restoration", $14, Speech of Hon Chas. A Towne of Minnesota in the House of Representatives, February 8, 1896. This is a 6" x 9" pamphlet, 32 pages long, which records the stirring speech of this congressman against the adoption of the gold standard and includes interesting charts and tables to support his arguments.
"Vitality Shoe Ad ", $12, Vitality Shoe Company - St. Louis. Great illustration of this companies ladies shoes. "Walk with Vitality and you'll walk with charm." Appx. 11" x 14" Note: Our scanner cropped the image you see here. This is actually a full page with margins.
"Greenville Womans College Brochure", $25, 1921 Brochure folds out to 6 1/4" x 16" with photo image of college on front. Some tears on folds. Also includes an "Application for Room" form, a signed personalized letter from the President, and the original stamped envelope.
"Catalog No. 22 - Modern Engine & Supply Co." $45, 127 page catalog of steam and gasoline engines, brass, gears, sprockets, electric motors, books and many other items. Also included - Order Form, reply envelope refund coupon, and buyers and sellers exchange Pre 1925, Water stain on upper left cover of catalog
